Bicycle Film Festival UK Producer, Laura Fletcher, reports for cyclodelic on last nights exclusive event.
Last Night saw the 2011 ICA annual Gala dinner and auction, which this year included 13 customized Bicycles by some of the world’s top artists.
The Ai Wei Wei deconstructed bike went for over £50,000 on the Auction Block. The Damien Hirst bicycle, fetched £21K, and other notables of the night included a Gavin Turk, Mark Wallinger and Jessica Voorsanger.
The theme of the night was Psychadelica, down to the brightly dyed canapes and hallucinogenic inspired performance artists, mingling with the crowd throughout the night.
