Tomorrow, Xanthe and I will be venturing to Leicester University for the Velo Belle Cycling Event. Velo Belle is a recently launched not-for-profit service dedicated to promoting cycling, specifically amongst women. Organised by Cyclemagic and part-funded by the CTC and the Big Lottery Fund, this is VB’s first major project and has already generated much interest from the BBC and a few local magazines and newspapers.
The day will include a range of cycling activities from a public try-out area featuring a variety of weird bikes, Dr Bike, information points and involvement from organisations such as Velorbis, Pashley and LOROS. Cyclodelic will have a stand where we will be selling our current range of cycling products and taking orders for the New Spring Collection.
The event is taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 16th from 10am to 4pm at Queens Hall in the Percy Gee Building at Leicester University.
