Looking to get in to shape after Easter or need a new fitness goal post your London marathon success?
The world’s largest run-bike-run event, the London Duathlon, will take place in Richmond Park in five months time on Sunday 11th September 2011. So, turn your sights to a new challenge and sign up now.
London Duathlon offers three race distances, so no matter what level of fitness you are at, you can enter. Competitors can enter individually for all distances or, for the Ultra and Challenge races, as a relay team of two or three. There are also children’s races.
For the first time this year, London Duathlon has teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support, so competitors can run and fundraise under the banner of Team Macmillan. Team Macmillan competitors will get a free place in the event in return for raising £400.
The three race distances are:
Fun: 5km run, 10km cycle, 5km run
Challenge : 10km run, 20km cycle, 5km run
Ultra: 20km run, 80km cycle, 10km run
