CYCLODELIC was started by London College of Fashion graduate and cyclist Amy Fleuriot in the Winter of 2006. It was around this time she began to cycle to and from her university lectures and felt frustrated with the lack of products for female cyclists.

During her second year at university Amy started work developing the concept of CYCLODELIC, producing accessories for urban riders and selling them through independent London bicycle stores. Graduating in the Summer of 2009 with First Class Honors she now continues to run the business from her studio in Hackney, East London.

In January 2007 Amy landed a job developing cycle fashion workshops for teenagers and primary school students in partnership with Sustrans. The project culminated with a parade of the finished garments showcased at London’s first bicycle fashion show ‘Pret a Rouler’. It was by helping out with the running of this show that Amy was led to develop the events and project management side to CYCLODELIC.

Working with private companies, charities and local authorities CYCLODELIC meticulously dreams up fun, creative events to encourage more people into cycling.

Launching CYCLODELIC for Topshop in 2009 at the flagship store on Oxford Street instantly captured the imaginations of the media worldwide. The lines signature combination of bright colours, bold prints and feminine curves standing out from traditional bicycle gear.

Today CYCLODELIC continues to combine thousands of miles of pedaling experience with the simple goal of creating beautiful clothing, accessories and events for women who don’t want to forfeit fashion over function when arriving by bike.
