Cyclodelic was started by London College of Fashion student and cyclist Amy Fleuriot in response to the lack of stylish yet functional bicycle wear for women. In the Summer of 2008 Amy partnered up with Textile Design Graduate and ex courier Sarah Buck. With their combined knowledge of fashion and textiles, thousands of miles of pedaling experience and the shared goal of creating beautiful clothing and accessories for women who don’t want to forfeit fashion over function when arriving by bike the duo set to work.
Cyclodelic sells through bicycle boutiques across London and online and has recently opened its first concession inside Topshop’s flagship store on Oxford Street. It hopes to continue to expand its network of retailers to make the range available to fellow bicyclista’s everywhere.
Sarah and Amy are also both qualified cycling instrcutors and have worked with Sustaianable Transport Charity ‘Sustrans’ to promote cycling through fashion in schools across the UK.
