Top Award for Wheels and Heels

 

Wheels and Heels won ‘Marketing and Travel Awareness Event of the Year‘ at the TfL Travel Smart awards in Holborn, London last night. The awards recognise outstanding sustainable travel work done by London’s local authorities, schools and businesses. Cyclodelic has always believed that fashion has a huge part to play in changing peoples perceptions of cycling and it is great that this has been recognised through the award. Thank you again to everyone involved and all those who came down to support the show.

Wheels and Heels gains Press Coverage in Japan

Bicycles LOVE Fashion

 

Thank you to everybody who turned up to support Wheels and Heels last night. The show was a huge success with over 1,000 people showing up to brave the cold on Valentine’s evening, to see London’s most innovative fashion show as the famous East End flower market was transformed to a catwalk for models on bicycles.

Cyclodelic would like to say a special thanks to Jiae Byun for the styling, Robyn Simpson for her fantastic choreography under such pressure, Harry Foster for the music, Paddy and Anna for their artistic cycling, Toni, Machiko and their teams for the hair and make up, Paul and Danielle at the Flea Pit – what a great venue, the Levack Brothers for their oh so slick production, all the models who braved the February weather in Summer Fashions, our many fantastic volunteers, all the local residents and of course to Hackney and Tower Hamlets Councils for providing us with such a great opportunity.

The London Paper featured Wheels and Heels today along with our new press image taken by Guy Hills of Dashing Tweeds, featuring a cape from his collection along with the Cyclodelic Bicycle and accessories, completed with clothing from shop 172 provided by our super stylist Ji Ae Byun.

It’s Showtime.. Again!

Amy Fleuriot from Cyclodelic will be organising London Fashion Weeks first cycle fashion show in collaboration with Hackney and Tower Hamlets councils. The show will be on February 14th and feature some of cycling’s most cutting edge designers including Dashing Tweeds, Two n Fro and Archies Gro Bags alongside our new collections.
