Every Spring Washington D.C. welcomes the warm weather with the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The 3,000 cherry blossoms highlight the area surrounding the jefferson memorial on the tidal basin. The festival is a two week celebration with a vast number of different events. Tomorrow is the annual Cherry Blossom 10 mile run and 5k run-walk. If the race doesn’t tickle your fancy, there are plenty of other fun things to do including a bike the sites tour. With our launch date in the states fast approaching, we very much hope to be in D.C. for this event next year.
